Where do I check-in for my flight to Stewart Island?
Stewart Island Flights is located in the main terminal at Invercargill Airport.

When do I need to check-in?
Check-in closes 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

What are the baggage limits?
Baggage allowance is 15kg checked baggage per person and one small item as carry-on i.e. handbag or laptop bag. Excess baggage may be deferred until a later flight. We can store unnecessary baggage free of charge.

Can I carry gas cooker canisters?
Unfortunately we cannot carry gas canisters or fuel on our scheduled flights. You can purchase these on the island however. We may be able carry gas on our chartered flights to Stewart Islands west coast beaches, please enquire.

Where can I park my car?
There is a car park at the airport terminal monitored with security cameras.

Is there a shuttle bus from/to Invercargill city?
A shuttle operates on demand to meet our flights. Contact Executive Car Services, Ph. 03 214 3434. Taxi’s are also available at the terminal.

How do I get from the airfield on Stewart Island to Oban?
Our courtesy van will meet you off the aeroplane, pick up your bags, and transfer you to our depot on the waterfront in Halfmoon Bay. Many of the motels and lodges will pick you up from the depot.

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation of a reservation outside 48 hours prior to the flight departure time shown on your E-Ticket will incur a cancellation fee of 20% of the applicable fare. Cancellation inside 48 hours of the flight departure time or failure to avail a flight for which a reservation is held will incur forfeiture of the fare. Any refund application must be lodged with Stewart Island Flights office or agent for Stewart Island Flights services within 30 days of the date of travel shown herein.

Flight time is 20 minutes, please allow 30 minutes for connections.
